The Brief
Te Kukupa approached SOLARC to design and develop a custom software platform. The platform's purpose was to connect NZ youth to relevant career and educational opportunities. The platform will first launch in ICT and move into other sectors where New Zealand has shortages in skilled workers such as Health, Construction, and Forestry.
The Solution
SOLARC created an easy-to-use web application. Prospective users simply sign up on the secure web application, answer a few simple questions about themselves to create a profile, and are presented with all possible opportunities that pertain to them.
Te Kukupa additionally provides online mentoring help and will provide ongoing support throughout the individuals journey.
Additional features like ”My Wishlist”, search filter, account editing, mentor chat and easy CV creation were added for optimal user experience.
